Mission Statement
Spay Today is committed to solving the pet overpopulation problem in Eastern North Carolina by providing low-cost spay/neuter services for dogs and cats. Sterilization is the only non-lethal solution available to decrease the large numbers of stray, unwanted and abandoned animals in our region.
In working towards this goal, Spay Today offers a high quality, high volume spay/neuter program to the Pitt County Animal Shelter, animal rescue groups, TNR feral groups, and the public. We are managed and operated by a skilled and compassionate staff who are truly dedicated to the animals in their care. All surgeries are performed by a licensed veterinarian who has received specialty training in spay/neuter techniques.
We dream of a day when every animal is wanted, every animal has a home, and all the cages at the animal shelter are empty.
